Wade, mine is still sitting in the garage on floats... I finally decided to weigh it in this configuration... it's 22.5 lbs (stock floats and my modified rigging, rudder and pull-pull system). Aside from the aerodynamic changes (much more drag, obviously), I have found that it flys about the same with floats on. That is, there's no increased tendency to snap at lower airspeed. What I'm getting at is that 19.5 is not too heavy, not by a long-shot.
