Default RE: Anybody use high torque servos for throttle?

I know this is an old thread, but I finally got my new servos installed the other day (both were reverse direction from what I took out, so the first thing I did was strip my servo horn, need to get some AL ones), and after some sorting I have to say it's a phenomenal difference. Especially the stronger throttle/brake one. It's a hitec HS-965MG, and the brakes finally work as intended. It has a ton of stopping power. the ACE DS1313 is a huge improvement for steering too. Definitely worth doing.
