I have one of these waiting for such a conversion also have a Tamiya Leo still in the box to build I am going to upgrade to metal tracks for the Tamiya so will use the leftover tracks for the hobby engine one ..... probably use Pershing gearboxes if the Tam Leo sprockets fit ....might go El-mod for the electronics... still a while away as other projects to finish 1st

Won mine of Ebay for $20 with shipping it came to $40 ....Twenty quid I was happy that day only thing was its a US charger so i havent even driven it yet
