As stated by W8YE this is not a beginners plane. I love small planes but usually fly them on nitro with one exception. Spall planes can be fairly snappy when they stall. Be very carefull selecting your power as a little extra can give you some more chance for recovery. I'm wish I could help you picj out a motor but I know embarassingly little about electric motors. So I would say just go get an OS .15 CV-A and be done with it
