Yes it is a project I had considered many times, it had great performance on DF.

Due to its size, and small wing I would suggest that the engine of choice would be the Wren44 Gold.

The install weight is pretty low and you only need 1 litre of fuel.
If you go bigger, it will be a tight fit and double the fuel load.
Due to the extra weight the wing loading you would need to seriously strengthen the model and fit high powered servo's...etc...etc.
All of that adds weight! and the wing loading goes up again[]
They flew fantastically on a Ramtec with a OS 91, top speeds of 200mph were recorded.

A 44 has as much static as a Ramtec but much higher dynamic thrust...it will be a pocket rocket![8D]
