Hi guys,
I bought SPE 40 and tried to break-in the engine yesterday. The problem I ran into was that I flipped the propeller many time but the walbro carb would not draw fuel. Then I pushed the air from the vent to see if the fuel would go in the carb but without fail. The pressure builds up inside the fuel tank but still fuel would not flow in the carb, it seems that something is restricting the flow. I have checked the fuel tubing and it is correctly installed. The high speed needle is open 2 ½ round while low speed needle is open 1 ½ from fully closed position.
Can someone tell me what seems to be the problem?
I even disassemble the carb and as soon as I started to unscrew the screw the air started to pass through the carb, once I tighten the screw, the air could not pass through the fuel inlet. This is my second gas engine in years and I am not familiar with gas engine and walbro carbs at all. Please help.
