RE: boiling tires..
yup boiling and the oven did nothing for me either in the end i threw them out because the oven melted the rims and boiling them destroyed the rubber and ended up ripping through the tire. next time i will try the ca remover it is sold by zap i think and its a red color used it a couple of times when building planes but could'nt find it when i needed it. good luck
