I got the already covered version. I used the heat gun, iron, books, weights, and the works trying to straighten stuff out before I got it together.

Oh, and I don't know about the diablotin, but on the diablo the beveling was ludicrously low for 3d. Like 15 degrees elevator and 20 degrees rudder. I double beveled everything before hinging and now have from 50 to 60 degrees of throw all around. It does one of the nicest elevators I've ever seen.
