Default RE: Sig Four Star 60

Hi Capt..

I did this with my 4 star 60; shorten the wing by one bay each side.

It'll give you a bit of a faster roll rate, and dosen't float as much (more sink).

It's also easier to get in the car!!

Also, replace the tail-wheel assembly. I've got a Sullivan on mine.

Other mods: (not done by me, but have read about)
Increase the rudder by 1 inch & increase servo size [torque]
Change to a 16oz tank, from the 12oz
Some say a beefier engine moutn too..
Sheet the turtle deck with 1/32" or 1/64" ply
Beefier landing gear & larger wheels (I'm running 3.5" dia wheels. Kinda comic-ie, but fun!) Also more clearance for your .91 sized prop. I've bent my LG a few times. Nylon bolts too..
Go with wood push-rods, or the 'Gold'n'rod push-rods.
Sheeting the leading edge of the wing with 1/32" ply
Aftermarket canopy, something more streamline, and not so bubble-y
Stay away from retracts!!
