BUT alchhol takes less air to burn per pound which means you can stuff more fuel in and get way more power than gas could ever put out
same as nitro methane in dragsters has less BTU's than alcohol or gasoline but only takes around 6 pounds of air to burn one pound of nitro methane
where as gasoline takes almost fifteen pounds of air
