Default RE: xpv?

actually the xpv flies very well, exceptionally well considering it is not a plane but a toy.. too expensive but if you have the extra 100$ it flies really well.. i would also highly recommend the estes sky ranger blue angel plane 32" wing span.. i returned the xpv because the battery connection stopped working but i have been told that is not a common problem so i would still recommend it, it will take incredible amounts of abuse, take off and land similar to a plane but it is more expensive thta the estes blue angel.. i have not returned the blue angel as it is a super parking lot flyer takes off and lands very well touch and go's everything that is considered level flight this plane does really well possibly the best 50$ i have ever spent!! i keep it around for those days when i dont have my nitro planes up and running and just want to fly instead of repairing! the aero ace bipe is super as well but most of the rest of those walmart planes (the storm launcher included) aren't really worth the money at all! the storm launcher might ROW for the first 1 minute of flight but after that the battery is too weak for anything but putting around on the water.. on top of that the thing doesnt fly worth a crap imo, it just flutters around rocking side to side with the tail sagging.. dont waste your money as i have tried almost every walmart plane available (besides the air pressure driven ones).. get the estes blue angel, you will be very pleased!! or the xpv if you are getting it for a smaller space or for someone that might crash the blue angel because it is not the toughest thing at wal mart.. it breaks about as easily as a balsa plane would so hard landings are fine but you can't hit anything or run it in hard like you can with the xpv.
