Default un-aerodynamic flight hints???

I'm am thinking about building a very un-aerodynamic plane for shock value in flight... like lawnmowers, witches, etc. I'm not truying for aerobatics, just somewhat stable flight.
Here is the basic concept. I have a styrofoam casting of a four cylinder car cylinder-head approx. 24 inches long and 6inch x 6 inch square( I will attach photos tonight). It is a exact copy of the aluminium head w/o the valvetrain components attached, but all the passages are there, valve seats etc. I figure that attaching a wing,( goldberg Tiger .60?) tail section on a boom to get c.g and long enough minute for controlability and appropriate glow power ( OS Surpass .91 ???) I can put radio and batteries anywhere. I guess my main question is.... should I build 3D type conrol sufaces and hope I canmix the elevators, aierlons, ruder etc, to allow for the differences in drag along the styro engine block on different sides or just use Tiger 60 remainders from a crashed bird?
Again, i just want to be able to fly lazy circles with a cylinder head with wings.
TIA
Mike
