Here's what I would do to troubleshoot.
1. squirt a little fuel or engine starter fluid in the carb. Turn prop a few times to see if motor kicks at all. If it does you still have a fuel problem.
2. Take the spark plug out hooked up to the lead. Turn the prop and when the prop goes past the sensor it should have a spark.
3. if no spark or weak.. hook up a ground wire from ignition unit to engine case. Test. Makesure if battery has enough power. swap out with fresh one.
If you dont have a good bright spark I would suspect a faulty ignition unit.
The engine only needs 2 things to start .. fuel and spark.

I still haven't maidened my Pitts. The cold is setting in here in the NorthEast and I'm only flying my small stuff. I'm going to wait until spring to fly this one I think.
