There are some segments of this hobby where going cheap you can often save a good deal of money and still get great performance. This includes items like motors, batteries and speed controllers.

However, gyros are NOT one area where buying cheap works. I have never seen a cheap gyro perform even remotely close to something such as a GY401. As others have said, buy a good gyro, the differences are immense.
