Default RE: gas fuel with glo plug no ignition

In my Poulaan running gas fuel and glow plug I use glow power all the time. I mean I have "ignition switch" on the side of the airplane that turns on the glow plug. I did not bother to use complicated electronics .

Remember I'm running gasoline with only 10% methanol in there so I need glow running all the time (without glow plug powered even at full throttle the engine slows down by 500 rpm). For the glow battery I use two Elite 3600 parallel (total 7200mAh) from [link=http://www.cheapbatterypacks.com/?sid=920616&pgid=loosecells&chem=NIMH]CheapBatteryPacks.com [/link]. It is enough capacity to run for two hours and it is still lighter than spark ignition setup. I have so far over 10 flights and the glow plug is holding OK.

It is cool to just flip the switch and flip the prop without messing up with glow starter - like bick-bucks guys. Every flight my Poulan is getting more power (it is much easier to o a loop on my PiperSpad) and it idles down to the point where the prop starts to turning back. The engine doesn't miss a bit.
