Another way would be to make up a pack of two 2500 mah AA cells that are available at Walmart for digital cameras
I'm not sure if these batteries can provide enough current for the glow plug. Cold glow plug can take up to 3.3A that would be 1.7A per cell. Even so called "High discharge" camera batteries are not rated for that current. The outcome will be much lower capacity than stated on the case. Use rather high dichcarge NiMh batteries designed for such current - the kind made for powering electric toys, rather than cameras, MP# players or other consumer electronics. Most of consumers batteries (even so called "high discharge") are rated for 0.5C.- 1 A is a lot for digital camera, but not much for the model's glow plug.
