Your correct Sir...but you are looking at the 125 . I was looking at the manual for the Saito 120 which is not made any more it's 820g, the 180 is 880g. That's were I got the 2 oz difference. Besides I only paid $100 for a NIB Saito 180. I actually do have a new Satio 120 (that's the manual I was looking at) I got just bought for another plane so I guess I'll have to do some head scratching and make a decision.
As far as the engine upside down. I was looking at it again today with the cowling in place, it would be sticking out to much at the bottom and I decided to put it on it's side. I've had a lot of nose in landings and it looks like I would easily damage the valve covers. So it's back to the original idea.
This is why I put out this post...to get a different point of view.
Did you get a chance to see that video? What engine do you think they are using?
