Before I purchased a new engine I researched and did read about bearing problems with V-Specs. But like mentioned above that problem is supposedly not an issue any more. So far so good. Runs strong. Dont have to touch the needles all day. Yes excellent fuel mileage. Dont know how that is accomplished, but yes excellent mileage. I have no regrets, and recommend it. I have no knowledge on the other, so offer no opinion.
