thanks for the reply, that makes sense what you say concerning the saito set-up. i have a pitts exhaust incoming and need the engine to sit flush at 9 and 3 o'clock to have their exhaust ports exit underneath evenly.
your set up looks sweet, clean and simple. for me, to keep it simple and not turn it into a hack job on my part, i may leave it as is and flip my carb to have the straight alignment with the throttle rod, based on what you've said.
i'm curious to read others that reply..
