The threaded part of the crank is 1/2" long and has 8 threads on it. Would I have to drill the hub or the flywheel center for the EI magnet? How would I mount the EI sensor, can I use the existing mount that was used for the pickup coil?

Tim, I have read that thread over and over again (I really enjoyed it). I have two of these engines. The only real obstical would be the crankcase, I guess. Taking my two cranks and making one does not seem that it would be that difficult. I might have a hard time coming up with the reeds and cage.
