Default RE: Recent VK Cherokee Babe build

Hello slim_pkns,

I help to look after a 4H model airplane club, and we just received a "donation" from a former club member's Dad - a VK Cherokee Babe.

The plane is in reasonable shape, but needs some work to repair crash damage and remedy areas of oil-soaked balsa - all of which is worth doing. Because there is some wing and fuse damage to repair and the covering was in rough shape, it has been stripped and we're rebuilding a few areas - all of which is a long way of saying that I can provide you with pictures of the UNCOVERED wing and fuselage. We also have to build a new cowl (fiberlass) and hatch, which is already underway.

The plane did not come with any documentation, so if it is possible to get a copy of DRGRAIGS plan (e.g. as a .pdf scan) that would be most appreciated.

Good luck with your build, let us know if you want any pictures - and if so, please specifiy if there are areas of confusion in yourbuild (for example the fuse inside is pretty cluttered and the build isn't 'obvious'). We probably won't get around to covering it for a few months, so you have some time to let us know if you need/want pictures.

Brgds
