I have te same plane and run a saito 125 with a hayes 16 oz. 2 line tank in it. I run JR ds821 all around except rudder. Which is the hitec hs525bb (fast servo)

the gear on the plane is junk. I switched to graphtec main and tail gear and a cf wing tube. I swing a apc 17x4W prop and the plane is an animal. Great flying plane and a joy. Does every maneuver with ease.
I also have not used hte elevator suort wires either. I wrung the hell out of the plane and anked full elevator from a full throttle 300 foot dive and it stayed on the plane. No cracks either. So I say they are uselss dead weight as long as you epoxy the tail feathers on liberally with 30 min epoxy your good to go.
