Color schemes
Both schemes are identical Wagstaff schemes. I happen to like it, but that's definitely a personal thing. My choice between the two would be neither. If you like the color scheme, buy the Dave Patrick Extra in the ARC version and cover it the way you want it(If you don't want to cover and don't like the DP Yellow then I guess you'll have to get one of these). There's a guy on RCU that has done this and duplicated this color scheme perfectly.
IMHO, if you just want an Extra in this size, buy the Dave Patrick Extra. Dave Patrick is one of the most accomplished model aircraft designers in the industry with a long proven track record of producing great flying planes. You have no idea what you're getting with these two kits. With all the talk of how heavy the DP Extra is, from the published specs of these two new kits, it appears the DP Extra will be the lightest(based on real weights of the DP comparing against published weights of the others-they'll probably end up heavier), and has the largest wing area. If all three were available when I bought my DP, it would still be a no brainer for me, DP all the way....except you'll have to accept the small company thing with on and off again customer service.
