2 channel "toy" is usually just motor controls "dual motor thrust steering like an rc boat or car".. there are a few that are single motor and rudder or elevon though 3 channel usualy dictate motor rudder and elevator control.. or motor elevator and aileron control.. either of which is MUCH better when learning to fly.. you learn the right way.. and you have enough control to get yourself out of trouble where as the 2 channel planes use airspeed to increase altitude
