Well, with all of the discounts and new lower price that OS has on their 200s I went ahead and bot one for an UltraRC Giles. SOme owners have reported more than 18 pounds of thrust with 30% nitro so I am hoping for about 18pounds with 20%. Won't know until probably next spring tho................
We had one at the field last weekend. Running YS 20/20 fuel and an APC 18x8W prop . I don't remember the tach numbers, but it was swinging the APC 18x8w about 300 rpm higher than the OS 1.60 was on the same prop. I think it was about 8700 dropped from a peak of 8900 RPM.
Only one tank through so he'll probably see close to 9K static in a bit.
That's some great thrust from a 35 ounce package, and way smoother compared to the Saito, and much better throttle response than the 1.60.
