MGC and Marushin are two separate companies MGC stands for Model Gun Company or Corporation. The problem with getting a replacement magazine is our replica regulations here in Canada. Technically replicas are prohibited weapons but due to the fact I purchased it prior to Dec1, 1998 I can legally keep it. I can't sell it, lend it, or give it away. If I no longer want it I must destroy it or turn it into the police for destruction. As for magazines all magazines here must be permanently pinned so only a certain number of rounds may be inserted uless you have an extend capacity permitt
