Default RE: CX2 battery question(s)

ORIGINAL: GalacticFattPatt

Just got mine yesterday.
Two charges and trimming so far.
It takes about 2 hours and 20 minutes for a charge. And I am getting about 10 minutes flight time. Is that right?
Can I charge the battery and leave it so it is ready for me when I come home from work the next day?
If I get a second battery, can I charge it off the the same charger that comes with the CX2?
What is the volts on the transmitter mean? Is that the volts of the batteries the tranmitter?
I think that is it. I getting everything else.
Thanks in advance for your advice

it is normal to have a battery take a while to charge at first, if it is another e-flite brand battery, shure you can charge it with the charger it comes with, if you get a different brand, I don't think it will work, plus the charger it comes with doesn't work so good since it charges up the battery until the first cell is at it's peak charge and stops, so, if you have the money, invest it into a BALLENCING charger, it is much safer since a low lipo cell can cause a fire.... which is the last thing you want to hear when you are at work....[&o]
