I have a Phoenix 5 and Phoenix 7 both framed and just about ready for paint. I agree with Bill 100%, I want them to be just as they were in the 70's except for the radio gear. I have a couple of NIB ST Blueheads for them, Southern retracts and plan to paint the P7 just like Dave Brown's that I used to watch fly (and idolize the airplane and pilot) when I was a kid.
The BPA stuff appeals to me a lot becuase it allows retracts and pipes. I want to recreate the models of that era as they were.
I'd love to find a QL Curare kit as well and paint it up like Hanno's from the '77 Springfield worlds.
