Ralph, didn't intend to offend anyone, I know how it was in the early 70's and that's all I can go by. Foxes and K&B were the only engines I could afford and the most expensive engine I had ever owned up to 1983 when I quit RC and flew full size was a K&B 40 with a Dykes ring and it spent a lot of time down with broken rods. I guess to be honest I don't think the Fox ever had a broken rod!!
