Spektrum modules and Futaba Tx

Danny,
Can you tell me if the Spektrum 2.4gHz transmitter modules for Futaba transmitters are compatible with the Futaba 9VAP?
I see reference to the 9Z, 8U, etc. but never the 9VAP.
