Thanks AV8TOR, I plan on joining the two cranks together before any machining begins, that way I can fit as I machine. It would be nice to have a CNC mill. I think I may be able to fabricate a milling attachment that will be large enough to hold the aluminum stock on the lathe, or just use a compound milling vise on the drillpress with an endmill. All of this is still a ways away.
