Default RE: Hyperion Katana 90 E

I have built two this past year. The first one was the best. The covering feels like ultracote and can be ironed with a high heat to remove the wrinkles. The painted belly pan and cowl fit perfectly. The airframe is light but strong. I added some thick CA to a few detected poorly glued joints - not many though. Like I said, the first one went together with no issues. I used the recommended motor and mount.

The second one had some minor issues. First, the belly pan didn't fit well without some carving here and there. Nothing terrible but time. Next, when I went to attach the motor and mount to the firewall, the cowling did not want to line up. Everything angle was off. I ended up shiming the motor mount to one side. After several hours of trial fitting, I finally found all of the correct angles. Everything else went fine on this second build.

I just receive the new 2008 replacement to the Katana 90-120 and it looks very nice.
