two years ago i bought a gp. venus .40. it is covered in monokote. here recently one of my flying buddies bought one and it is "not" covered in monokote. i reconized the covering right off as towerkote which i consider a crappy covering. the colors are lighter than mine. i took scrap pieces of towerkote i had and matched it on his venus. perfect match. his is already starting to wrinkle and come loose. arf quality has been subject on these forums for a long time. funny!... i am a goverment employee which i have a purchasing card to buy electrical material for mainteanace and projects i'm working on. we have been told not to buy products made in china......oh well!!....that just made my job easier. because a lot of electrical products are now being made in china for american distributors. if my suppliers do not have it american made, i cannot buy it. i do not do the job.
