1. You can cover the wing with the ailerons on. Cover the bottom first leaving about 1/2' of covering overlapping over the aileron. Do not tack it down yet. You will do that
after you cover the bottom side of the aileron. You will use it as a hinge "gap" seal.

Now, cover the top of the wing leaving about 1/2" extra at the trailing edge which will also act a a "hinge gap" seal.

Cover the bottom of the ailerons, first and then the top. Run the covering to the hinge line.

Now, go back to the botttom of the wing. Deflect the aileron down as far as it will go and then seal the trailing edge of the wing. I use my trim iron and iron the covering
down into the hinge line and then seal the remainder down on the aileron. Turn the wing over and deflect the aileron as far down as it willgo and do the same thing.

2. Removing CA hinges is relatively easy. Just get a nice new exacto blade and carefully run it into the wing or aileron (whichever has the remaining hinge)
parallel with the hinge working the knife back a forth loosening the balsa from the hinge. Do the same on the bottom side of the hinge. Generally, they will come
right out. If the slot has been enlarge a lot you can move over and redo or use the plastic pinned hinges. They are thicker and will take up a lot of
the slack. You epoxy them in. Be careful not to get expoxy on the pins.
