Thanks for the replies, Guys. I really appreciate it.
Bry! Nice to see You here.
How hard was the transition, as I have no local clubs, LHS, etc. to benefit Me. All I know, I know from this forum. I guess the response has proven that once again, I can rely on You guys.
I just don't want to get frustrated with the set up, as I know nothing about the T-REX, and I don't want to be a bother.
The HBFP was on the top of My list, and wanted input on the T-REX.
I think it's not if, but when I get a T-REX.
I don't want umpteen helis working up to the T-REX, but I'm starting to think that if I do have a 'go between' the HBFP would be a good springboard.
I'm just getting kinda bored with the CX-2'S. I'll never get rid of them, just want to move on.
I'm eating My words as a few Months ago, I said I never would.
Never say Never.

Hi there, buddy!

Yeah, I am pretty active here in the TREX forums both here and at HeliFreak as well as still maintaining my interestes in the CX2.
The TREX is a dream to set up. The manual will leave you wanting, but there are so many good resources both here and on other forums, that you will feel JUST FINE about your build. Your first step is to actually order the lit and the electronics. Second, download and watch EVERY single one of Finless' TREX 450 SE setup videos. Third, find a coach / mentor to help you theough it. Someone local would be best, but there are plenty of people around here that will help you via posts, direct e-mails, IM, and phone conversations! I did all of my setup with the help of two very nice individuals. The first one kind of took me through the mecahical setup and the second was there for the electronics.
The V2 kit is great, but it DOES force you to assemble most of the Heli by yourself. The only assembled components are the upp frame, lower frame, head and tail assemblies. The rest is up to you!

I personally liked having to do this, as I am no longer scared of tearing apart my Heli when I crash!
Simulator: GET ONE. I am running RF G3.5 and there is an AWESOME, FREE TREX SE V2 model you can download. If you are a swhred shopper, you can pick up RF G3.5 for a bargain here at RCU, as RF just released their new version.
