You told me along time ago, don't be afraid and continue on. That programming stuff is a nightmare, you just gotta tweek it some more. As we all know, trial and error. It's the errors that cost ya!

Darn kids, next time he faulters, tell him to send you a check.

I stepped into the idle-up programming AGAINST better judgement. Oh....that was fun getting it handed to me. Thought I fried my rudder servo too but it turned out the plug somehow got loose (????). Damage to the Lama v4 was light. I ordered his parts for a total of $10.00. He told me from his book by part number what he needed...I hope he didn't miss anything, you know how that is. He is trying the "farmers fix" with epoxy till the new parts get here. I told him if it vibrates at all...DONT fly it, wait for the parts. When I flew it last...smooth as glass on spool-up. He's gotta learn like we did...THE HARD WAY.
LMAO...Oh, he's buying the parts. I just used my CC because it's faster and he's putting the $$$ back. He's working all weekend, the parts will be here Sat/Mon (gotta love ole JAG hobbies). I told him to bring it over Mon/Tue, I'll watch him fix it and I'll make sure everything is setup properly and test hop it. I'm walking away from the idleup for a spell. The loose plug on the gyro....I shoulda caught that before I did, so I'm tired. I just now got the HHG responding as advertised, and jump right into another bag of worms....I'll take a break. It's fun to fly this heli without adjusting rudder trim as the battery goes. With the HHG doing it's job, I can see after todays session out door, I'm ready to advance beyond std forward flight. I did a lot of ff nose in, flying right over my head back and forth. The HHG makes me very comfortable with flying it a little harder.
