Built both the kit and the ARF. I thought the kit was easier to assemble. The ARF had a lot of plastic that did not fit well. The ARF was also much heavier, which made low power characteristics different from the kit. My rudder would stick on mine due to the plastic peeling. This happened causing a tip stall during a deadstick resulting in a total loss of the plane. It is hard to repair foamboard. The color began to fade after one summer.
The ARF was a pretty plane, mine was blue and got a lot of compliments at a mall show.
You should have fun with this plane, but if you can, find a kit, could be already built, I got one last year at auction and flies oh soo well.
