There is no requirement to match any colors....we do it just because it looks better. I picked Monokote colors I liked and then matched the paint. The scheme isn't necessarily what is visible so much as the colors and contrast. You don't have to do an elaborate scheme. I learned a long time ago, the contrast is what matters. My previous Mantis has a VERY easy scheme, and it was very visible as well. See the pics below,
