So the DA 85 is lighter than the BME 115????? It's hard to believe that the little difference in weight between those two can make the DA 85 better. Without a doubt the BME puts out waaay more power at about the same weight. Hmmmmm.

Not going to start... Not going to do it... No thousand points of light... No ROI...

Although the BME 115 is a powerhouse, it is not without it's problems, which have been discussed ad nauseum on various internet forums... The most serious issue is that BME apparently is no longer in business... That, coupled with the FACT that they are difficult to tune without a bunch of chicken bones and a voodoo witch-doctor all factor into my response above...

If you fly above half-throttle all the time, then the BME might be for you... If like me, you need a "delicate" throttle curve / transition between idle & half-throttle, then IMHO the BME isn't going to do the job...
