MMM well the only real difference i suppose is you can replace the clutch shoes in one of them. But as the clutch liner wears down on the other one the tangs have to spread out further and can break off also when a new liner is installed the tangs can not be repostioned to give you the clutch gap needed so it doesnt engage at idle. So i suppose the shoe type is cheaper and easyer to maintain...
