Guys,

My friend put his new JJ1400 on the test stand and we fired it up, it works really well but there's one thing a little iritating.

This engine is with the NADES full auto ECU unit - and when on the start sequence, at the point that the gas solenoid closes (stock value was i think 30K RPM) the engine puffs for a few seconds (sometimes 10-20 secs with poof poof poof noises), during the time the RPM stays about steady or sometimes even drops again to 27K which engages the starter again.
after this, it accelerates to idle nicely. during this whole stage the ECU reads FUEL RAMP.

anyway, to varify this is the gas solenoid we upped the GAS OFF RPM to 32K, and this happend at 32K, so i tried it without the GAS solenoid, and this avoided the whole poofing situation.

anyway, any idea how we could get rid of this ? besdes this, the engine runs perfect !!
