Default WM cub with GeeBee floats
I am thinking about installing 33" GeeBee floats on a World Models J3 Cub (71" WS). Are these floats the correct size? I thought I heard somewhere that the floats should be 80% of the fuselage length(prop washer to rudder hinge). I'm not sure what the actual length off the WM cub is, but I think its around 48"??.
Any thoughts?
