RE: Tx as a SIM controller
Michael, aren't you just the smart guy today. Makes perfect sense to me. There was a time when I knew that stuff, but it's been a long while since I've thought about it. So if I only plug in one of the contacts on the crystal, can I run my antenna at half mast?? Just kidding.
So what's you gots for us for this holiday season? What's the hot product or amazingly good deal that we better hurry and not miss. I'm still beating myself up with the falcon and it's starting to show. A couple of wasted blades experimenting with flattening was a bad thing. Yes I can flatten them. And they stay flat. Boiling doesn't help. And I've got two tail rotors that are broken but servicable.
My tail motor has gotten a bad case of the twitch and I'm adjusting the pot (gain pot I hope) by turning it CCW. I'm thinking that CCW is decreasing sensitivity to reduce the twitchiness. Time will tell if I'm doing the right thing, but any advice would be good.
Does anyone make a real gyro for the Falcon / Walkera? With the springs out of the left stick the throttle and tail rotor are far more easily controlled, but a gyro would make things better still. As the tail has gotten spastic, it is also sluggish to respond. Ya think loosing 1/2 of one of the tail rotor blades could make it sluggish? Maybe a new rotor would make it better.
Anyhow, what's the hot deal in town? I'm looking for Falcon parts and a free HBK2. (It never hurts to ask!)
Happy and profitable new year, Michael.
