Default RE: AIR HOGS U-BUILD IT

Took it to the park today with snow on the ground without rudder mod and not trimming it out. BAD IDEA ... The back elevator kept popping off on impact so i glued it down with some CA. Read here that it may be a little nose heavy so added a dime to the back, didn't work. Couldn't keep it in the air for 10 seconds but this was only because the rudder would turn ever time I up throttled causing the whole plane to turn when i didn't even press the turn controls yet. But I took it home and have it trimmed out nice so throttle doesn't make rudder turn anymore, only when I press it on the stick. I Also extended rudder. IT DOES GAIN HEIGHT FAST BUT ONLY ON THE STRAIGHT AWAY DON"T FLY IT IF THE RUDDER TURNS WHEN U UP THROTTLE, TRIM IT OUT IT CAN BE DONE. USE HALF THROTTLE WHEN TURNING OR IT WILL STICK IN THAT DIRECTION FOR A COUPLE OF SECONDS EVEN AFTER U LET GO IF YOU HAVE IT ON HIGHEST THROTTLE. FULL THROTTLE IS JUST FOR CLIMBING NOT TURNING!! PLANE CAN BE FLOWN AT 1/2 PERFECTLY.

I will Post How well it flies now with these simple adjustments

The Transmitter And Charging:
Yes it doe's use 6 AA's
Something people may not know about is with the transmitter; Your plane must be set to off when you plug it in after that turn on the transmitter and you should see a green and red light on it. Mine was dull and wouldn't charge with Alkaline AA's So I put rechargeable Duracell 2650Mah AA's in it and it lit up like a Christmas tree and charged in 15 minutes flat. As Darticus says the green light does go off on full.

Again.. I haven't tried to fly with my mods yet but will post back when I do.
