Smoke on or off?

I've just got one of these Heng Long Tiger 1 tanks, however the smoke does not work. The manual isn't too clear so I read up that if the smoke fuel is too full to leave it on a while but the on/off switch indicated in the manual for the smoke has instead "A and B" on my tank, so I can't be sure which is on and which is off. I've tried it with both but no luck so far. Any help would be cool.
