RE: JetJoe OWNERS thread
Erazz, I have copied a BVM Bobcat, Jet 1 A trailing link landing gear, and a whole slew of other things. Does not developing the technology, acquiring the tools, machinery etc. to complete the project reek of innovation? I often wonder what separates me from a company like Jetjoe, is it that I'm not out selling what I make? Look at Dreamworksrc.com and their trailing link gear. Isn't it a copy of Jet1A? Is Todd not an innovator?
I just don't understand guys saying negative things about this company, and then following my advice and short changing BVM on their airline and glues. A company like BVM goes out and spends hundreds of dollars on different glues, then go to the office, spend countless hours seeing which ones make the most sense for what we do, then they repackage the glue under their name. "Aeropoxy".
Then some chump comes on and tells the world that it's Hysol 9462. And the hobbyists bypass BVM and buy the 9462. And how innovative do we feel buying the product direct?
Sheesh. I have no doubt that the guys putting together these engines are trying to put out a good product for a measly pittance. I have machined quite a lot over the past year, and it is not easy, and it takes a lot of time, even when the machine is doing the work.
