Default Protek lipo rx pack

Fellas,

I am assembling my first nitro heli, a raptor titan was left under the tree for me this year.

Got the combo from heliproz for 640 or so with os50 and accessories. Grabbed four hitec 5625mg's, and a gy401/9254 combo for the tail. I need a rx battery, don't own an all in one charger (I have a cellpro 4s and one of those cheapo great planes polychargers). I decided to get a regulator and run a lipo as that will be cheaper than buying a charger capable of nicad/nimh and a pack plus I figured that added time between charges would be welcomed.

I have read of people using anywhere from 2000mah lipos on up to 4000mah or more on the titan so I figured in the middle ought to be good. I compared pack weights/prices and am looking at this protek pack http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...ducts_id/16134

Protek 2s 3000mah lipo, anyone used them? From the picture it appears to only have one connector for plugging in to the rx/regulator and that must serve as the charge port as well. Without a balance tap, I won't be able to charge with the cellpro (if I can, someone explain how plz) but the polycharge http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXHNW5&P=ML ought to be able to charge through that plug.

I have seen guys at the field charging lipos with a triton jr and they charge directly through the deans (that is on a 3s 2000mah pack) and when I asked how they balanced, I got a puzzled look. Mostly older (plank) guys where I fly and nobody there really seemed to even know the technology was around.

If I charge this pack with the polycharge am I going to run into balance problems?? Does anyone know if there is balance circuitry already wired into the pack?
