theres a couple of methods to lock a diff on a tt01. you can glue em or epoxy em shut, or u can remove one of teh tri bevel gears and fix it between the other two so that there is no movement in the tranny.

to change the motor u remove the six screws on the hood and the brace and remove the mount from teh motor and pinion from the motor and replace everything using the new motor.
