Well I have been waiting a week a the weather in New York state has been just terrible... One day it's windy the next day its snowing all day. I have tried it with the rudder mod, I don't know if it was the weather or it being 10 degrees outside but plane seemed to work ok but wouldn't turn the direction i wanted to go with it. Couldn't even keep it in the air for 10 seconds and only got about 60 feet before it lost altitude. I'll have to try this again for sure.
Also I am using clear packing tap folded over twice for the rudder mod.
at least with the micro cessna i could do about 30 circles around me, go 100 feet come back and do it all over again.
Don't know about this one guys

Had my hopes up on this model.
Will try again tomorrow...... If it still won't work i will put plastic instead of tape on back and report right back here.
UPDATE WITH RUDDER MOD
Flew it again and it did much with rudder mod then without. It was 5-6mph wind and 34 degrees and I had no trouble with it flying in the wind. I even did large circles. It's relaxing to watch and glides gently on the wind. It seems to do giant C's before it hits the ground. Keep in mind this was with snow on the ground and snow kept getting inside the plane everywhere, I just blew it out and it kept running but think it was weighing the nose down somewhat. My longest flight was about 2 minutes before it couldn't find any wind to glide up on. Plane's range seems just over 100 feet although Air Hogs claims 300ft on the package.. (Anyone getting more?)I did experience some glitching but for the most part my problem was the snow getting inside the propeller compartment and weighing the plane's nose down. But in all, my conditions of flying could have been better and with that said it's a Relaxing plane to fly. Also flies great down wind and easy to turn around back up wind to gain altitude. Operates more like a underpowered glider that anything else. It's usually pretty stable and uses the wind to gain altitude I think another way to gain altitude is to fly straight into it while you hand launch it above the head. I can honestly say i had better results with launching it with the wind then against the wind. You can launch it against the wind but it doesn't seem to have enough power to power itself up and through the winds lift. (Just don't turn too fast or it nose dives.) And after 10 minutes with flights only lasting 40 seconds I still have pretty decent battery life left. The slower you are on the rudder controls the better it reacts to the turn. This plane takes time to get used to and of course you can even take off the wings and add a complete new wing set to it but for me I'm only getting used to it the way it is.
