Default RE: Required Servo Torque

ORIGINAL: nascardad24

Stay clear of the Spektrum servos. I had one on my hyper 8 and one of the teeth for the throttle/brake broke and caused the buggy to be stuck in the full throttle position. My hyper 8 rb c5bb took off, as in gone, till it hit a 4x4 post. Bent the chassis, busted the tank and PMO.
On the bright side, it was a fast buggy.

I've ran Blue birds BMS-620 and 660, Spektrum 590, Airtronics 94359, and some stock rtr servos. and the only problem I've had, is on the blue birds, once because I was using a radio with out EPA so that was my falt, then on the other one the case broke (where the screws that hold the servo together and hold it in the car) but blue bird replace that for free. so I'm plaesed with them, for $24 and get 144oz and .10 or .13sec speed that pretty good. the 590 and the 94359 have only been ran for 2/3 of a gallon but no problems yet.
